3 tips for a better bong session
There’s nothing better than sitting down with a bong and toking the day away. You may be surprised to hear this, but it is possible to make the experience even better. We have three tips that will surely make your session more pleasant than they are right now.
1. Learn your smoking sweet spot
When you are a new adult it is all about taking things to extremes. You want to be the person who can drink the most without passing out. You want to be the person who can get the most blazed. However, as you grow older, you realize that this isn’t really fun. What you really need to do is to find your smoking sweet spot. This is the point where you are content with how high you are, and don’t need to smoke any more. Once you reach this sweet spot, note how much herb you are using, and use the same amount every time you smoke up. Sure, you can lower the amount for when you need to do something later in the day, or up the amount once in a while, but remember the sweet spot for the best experiences.
Stoners aren’t really good at cleaning up things. We know this is a chore and no one likes doing it, but proper maintenance of your bong will lead to better smoking experiences. We have seen some real horror shows when we smoke up with our friends. Bongs not lighting up properly, tasting disgusting, there being a weird aftertaste to the smoke – a lot can go wrong if your bong is dirty. Cleaning up a bong isn’t hard, and the good ones are detachable so you can easily clean each and every part. Hate cleaning up? We have the solution: clean up when you have smoked already. Put on some good music, sit with cleaning cloths, and slowly get into it. You will enjoy it, trust us.
Getting coughing fits is almost a rite of passage when it comes to bongs. However they should go away once you are used to smoking up. If they aren’t, it is probably because your bong isn’t good enough. There are bongs with diffusers, percolators, ice catchers, and much more. All these features are there to make your smoking experience better. They increase the amount of interaction that happens between the smoke and the water inside the bong, which lowers the temperature of the smoke. Hot smoke results in coughing fits, while chilled smoke goes down smoothly. Seriously – we know people who put their bong in the freezer or put a bit of ice in with the water for this very reason.
Use these three tips and your smoking experience will improve considerably. None of them are hard to do, and all of them result in a more relaxed smoking session.
