To Bong or Not to Bong

Will You Be Smoking Alone?

Bongs are fantastic when you have a lot of people smoking together. Joints get weird (and there is nothing worse than a joint being soggy due to too many people smoking from it) if there are too many people. Bongs can be easily passed among many people without deteriorating the experience in any way. If you are the only person who is going to smoke up then maybe something like a pipe would be better than a full bong. If you plan to smoke up with your friends then bongs are the way to go.

How Are You Traveling?

This is a very important factor when it comes to bongs. If you are going with someone else and taking a bag with you bongs are not a very good idea. You have to make sure the person driving is comfortable with you having a bong in the vehicle. If you are using public transport you are good to go. If you are traveling between cities on a bus or train then remember that your bags will probably be checked. Bongs themselves aren’t illegal but they may put you in a closer spotlight when the time for checking comes. If you are taking your own car then bongs are the best.

Will You Have Privacy Where You Are Going?

If you are going to have your own room or tent then bongs are perfect. We would also highly recommend bongs for trips to nature. Joints are very bad when smoking in a park or any place where nature is to be persevered. The filters and papers can pollute the surroundings, something which isn’t an issue at all when it comes to bongs. If you think that you will not have a lot of privacy then you should look into pipes or smoking joints. Joints and pipes both have the advantage of being usual very quickly. Even if you only have 5 minutes of privacy you can smoke up. Family trips are where you will need such quick tools.

Can You Keep The Bong Safe?

Opening up your bags and seeing a broken bong is one of the worst feelings you can have as a stoner. You need to consider the logistics of storing the bong properly. Use proper packing materials and your bong will be safe. Surround the bong with clothes so it doesn’t bump around too much.
